Prasanth is now establishing himself as a well known Miruthangam player, Prasanth started learning carnatic Instruments at the age of 8 from his father Pranavanathan Shanmugarathnam, the globally renowned carnatic Player. Moreover at the age of 15, Prasanth done his Arangetram on Miruthangam in 2003, and after that he started to play in germany, denmark, Swiss, Holland, Norway, France for dance and Vocal Arangetrams. Prasanth also teach for more then 25 Students. He played for a lot of Dance performance -Arangatrams with many famous dancers. Prasanth established under the Legend Sruthilaya kendra Guru Karaikudi Mani. Prasanth also now support new comer & Upcoming artist to become known Artist in music field to bring new new talents out. Prasanth also played for the famous musicians from India:
